Seasonal Programs

Red Oak is proud to offer many programs related to our mission during the year. See below for what is upcoming.

WINTER HORSE CARE CLINICS

This winter, Chincapin Equestrian Center will be hosting Horse Care Clinics for our youth campers, with focused topics on best care practices for our beloved four-legged companions.

During this blustery season, horse care takes an adjusted approach from the warmer months, requiring feed modifications, attention to detail, mud, snow, and ice management, and finding creative ways to keep our horses entertained. It is essential to provide correct care according to the weather and pasture conditions.
